What Is Your Favorite Anime?

OHHH I loved Code Geass. It was so good. Kallen was my favorite character though. Then C2 and Suzaku. I liked shugo chara though too. I haven't found very many others that I have really gotten into though. Any suggestions?

I used to love watching inuyasha while I got ready for school. I loved Sango and Kilala in that show. Maybe I'll watch through that ago though. The only other one I am ready now is the Naruto shippouden manga series which I feel like will be over very soon. Kind of a bummer since I watched it since It first aired. but anyway I am looking for something to replace that here very soon.

Hamtaro or Jackie Chan's Adventures. Not sure which atm.

fullmetal alchemist, no question. not the brotherhood series either, i mean the original anime adaptation. it had a cinematic flow to the material and felt like a real creation for the screen. the atmosphere is unbelivably strong and encompassing. the characters feel incredibly strong and are focused on the the right way to make the audience feel and understand what the characters go through. it has weight to its actions and consequences. it has a heavy plot with a very focused point of view, and a simple goal for the focused characters. it created a world that i felt was lived in by these strange people, and didn't feel forced. every event had its purposes, and it felt like trigun with a more focused plot, more relatable characters, and a more complete idea.

i even like the thing people generally hate about it; the ending. the ending (without spoilers as best i can) basically states that resembool is a part of a parallel universe to our own. the show simply seems to end for many fans of the manga and was unsatisfying for them. i personally thought of it as a film ending and it was an incredibly satisfying plot enclosure. i thought it gave the world a larger scale and it gave an interesting concept that applies completely to the development of sciences and cultures of the human race in the past 1500 years. it also lead to an above average anime feature film that concluded the story perfectly in my opinion. it was something i really enjoyed as a part of this world.

simply a masterpiece to me. =)

Cowboy Bebop was pretty awesome, also Gurren Lagann.

bebop was great. honestly adult swim did choose some absolute greats to show like cowboy, fullmetal, paranoia agent, trigun, and escaflowne.

i'm surprised how much they really cared about quality content.

I really haven't seem much of what is on adult swim these days. Any big plots you really like. I'm looking for new shows.

aside from FMA, trigun has a nice fufilling plot, the movie akira is a fantastic experience, and i liked black butler reasonably well. its more a campy, sam raimi type anime though, so be forewarned.

Oh yeah I forgot about Paranoia Agent... Probably the most messed up show I've ever seen... And I loved it lol
